Wagons for hauling stuff.

 

Plastic containers like the ones organic greens come in are great for sorting and storing seed packets and craft material

8' long, lightweight folding tables for various activities with classes and at events.

Stethoscopes

Compasses for the students to use on the trail

Scales for the students to weigh seeds and produce.
 

 

Black Sharpie markers

Pedometers for the students to track their physical activity in the gardens. We need a total of 50.

Kitty litter buckets are great for hauling wood chips and compost.

 

Wheel barrels for hauling mulch and compost.

 

Plastic trash cans with wheels for storing hoses and other supplies.

Sanford ebony pencils - for writing on plant labels. Even the best permanent markers are faded by the sun in a few weeks.

Lil-Hog shovels are what the students use in the gardens.  They are strong and the perfect size.

Garden trowels - The narrow ones sometimes called planters are the best for our purposes.  No plastic ones, please.

Many pairs of strong scissors for cutting flowers and other garden tasks.

Plastic Venetian blindsWe cut them into short strips to use as plant markers.
