Financially – Our programs are funded through grants, fundraisers and the support of generous people like you who believe in the value of hands on, nature-based learning for our children. Any donation, small or large, helps us continue our mission. Help us to bring school grounds alive, one school at a time.

Working together

Collaborations & In-Kind Donations – Granny’s Garden School is grateful for the many businesses and individuals who support work by donating products, services and access to their business networks.  The generosity of these people goes beyond donating things – they have become a part of the fabric of our organization.

It’s such fun seeing kids getting turned on to gardening.

Granny’s 13th Annual Plant Sale – Our annual plant sale is always the first Saturday & Sunday in May. We are blessed  with a group of local growers who provide plants for our sale on consignment.  Their support allows us to sell the plants at the same price you will find at their individual garden centers.  Plant sale income = about 20 percent of our annual income.

We work with more than 1,000 volunteers each year.

Volunteers – We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities seven days a week, February-November. There is an endless list of outdoor tasks to completed and an equally long list of behind the scenes projects that make the educational programs possible.  You can volunteer in the gardens, in the office, virtually or take on special assignments.
