Train carriages that are now amazing tiny homes
Set on old train tracks, the bright red carriage once belonged to Southern Railway (US) and still boasts some of its original mechanisms.
The train carriage features a modern kitchen and bathroom at one end, a cosy bedroom at the other and a living and dining area in the middle.
The bedroom is the perfect spot for two and there's also a sofa bed in the living room, so a third guest can spend the night. Outside, you'll find a large deck, hammocks, a swing, a fire pit and a grill for alfresco feasts.
Located on a reconstructed railroad at the old Racour train station in Landen, Belgium, you'll find two M2 railway carriages that were in service on the Belgian railway network until 1990.
Thanks to a sympathetic and thorough renovation, the carriages are now comfortable holiday homes, where lucky guests can enjoy a unique getaway.
The inside of the former vehicles have also been modernised. They were first stripped completely, before being refurbished with new walls and furnishings.
At the front of the carriage, where the cab and luggage compartment used to be, you can now find a large bedroom with two single beds and one bunk room that sleeps four.
