Fastest-growing succulents for the home garden
If flowers and fruit trees were your only options for the home garden, but you fear you do not have enough time to take care of them, succulents might be the perfect option for you
One of the easiest and fastest-growing succulents is without a doubt Aloe vera. It grows and propagates quickly, has many different uses, can be grown with very little maintenance, and best of all, it can grow in limited spaces too.
Another easy-to-grow succulent is the Jade plant, and it is almost like a mini tree with leaves growing out of the barks. Jade grows well indoors and outdoors and can be grown even in bright, indirect light.
Echeveria is one of the most beautiful succulents with rose-like patterns, and soft colours over the leaves. It is not the classic green leaves plant but rather adds a pop of colour to the succulent world.
The Sedum plant grows upwards like a tree, and has thick, fleshy leaves that look beautiful in small containers. It is low-maintenance, can grow even without direct sunlight, and does not need much space to spread.
A uniquely named succulent, the String of bananas has long, fleshy leaves that trail around the pot, and is thus best grown in hanging pots and containers.
The Panda plant is a fuzzy succulent with a mix of colours on the leaves. The inner leaf has the conventional green colour, and one the edges is a bright red that makes the plant stand out.
