Make the Kofta Dough: In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, grated paneer, cornflour, spices, and chopped coriander. Mix well and shape into small balls.

Prepare the Gravy Base: Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and sauté until they splutter. Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
